The resources below have each been valuable to me and many others. Their reference or use do not guarantee suicide prevention, nor should they be used in lieu of your medical professional's advice. Please visit their websites to see if they are the right fit for you.

TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Programs for Survivors)

TAPS has been a savior for me, offering compassionate care to those grieving the loss of a military loved one. It is through their groups & the programs I've participated in that I am learning how to honor Mark and his service, regardless of the circumstances. I now also have my TAPS family to lean on when I need support.

SOSL: Survivors of Suicide Loss, San Diego

There are many support groups for those of us surviving a suicide loss. SOSL of San Diego is currently the only place where I know EVERYBODY in the room understands and respects my experience. It is a non-secular safe space for sharing and connecting with others dealing with their own loss of a loved one to suicide.
